Any consumer has the right to purchase food products or services of appropriate quality, safety, as well as to receive correct and comprehensive information in the state language about the products or services and the procedure for exercising or defending their rights. The consumer has also the right to the protection of violated rights and the compensation for damages.
If you have bought a food product of poor quality or an unsafe food product, you have the right to:
- require the product to be replaced by a product of the same quality;

If the seller / service provider does not agree with the consumer's requirements, it must provide a detailed, reasoned written response within 14 days.
If no agreement can be reached, the consumer has the right to contact the State Food and Veterinary Service by a free phone number 8 800 40 403 (24 hours a day / 7 days a week) or the following e-mail: email@example.com.
